Didier is the son of Rhomes and Celina Aur. He was born May 9, 1961 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His family moved to the United States in June of 1966, where his father, Dr. Rhomes Aur, became the first oncologist at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Didier graduated from Christian Brothers High School in Memphis. He earned a BS in Education and an MS in Special Education from the University of Memphis as well as an MS in Educational Leadership from Christian Brothers University. He is working on an MA in Catholic Studies. His teaching career began at Presbyterian Day School, which led to a teaching position at his alma mater, CBHS, where he served as a teacher, coach, and administrator. After serving ten years at CBHS, Didier was named principal of Holy Names Catholic School, a Jubilee School in the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. He served as president of Helias Catholic High School (a co-ed Christian Brothers high school) in Jefferson City, MO. After serving seven years as president, Didier returned to the Jubilee Schools where he served as principal at Resurrection Catholic School, head of school at Memphis Catholic Middle and High School, and development director for all nine Jubilee Schools. Didier is also a graduate of the Lasallian Leadership Institute at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. This is his thirtieth year working in education.
Didier and Kelley have been married since 1985. Even though they live in Memphis, Kelley continues to work for Jefferson Bank of Missouri. Their son, Jonathan, is married to Brittany Angelos. Jonathan works for Boyle Investment Company and Brittany works at Regional One Health. Jonathan and Brittany live in Memphis. Their daughter, Celina, lives in San Antonio, TX where she works as a client service manager for ProScribe. Didier and Kelley are parishioners at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett.
